Alisha Melancon CPG, CEO/Owner
Born and raised in South Louisiana, with early years as an equestrian, my knack for compassion shaped a lifelong belief that all animals deserve to be treated with kindness and respect. After moving to Oregon in 2020, with 10 years of experience working in a variety of salon and veterinary settings — learning what works and what doesn’t — I set out to build something of my own: a space where gentle handling, artistic grooming and quality always go hand in hand.
With award placements in grooming competitions, and time in conformation showing under some of the world’s most prestigious groomer-handlers, BlushPup is more than a business; it’s a passion project rooted in caring for your pet’s whole health, inside and out.
When I’m not pampering pups, I like to spend my time in the outdoors taking photos, camping, paddle boarding, and hiking with my partner and our rambunctious golden retriever, Brûlée. In the wetter months of the Pacific Northwest you can often find me with a paintbrush in hand, trying out a new baking recipe, or finishing up my latest knitting project for a friend or family member.
